Summer Camp 212

Monday, June 2, 2025 – Friday, July 25, 2025 (8-weeks)
For rising 3rd through 8th Grade Students

Camp Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Closed Friday, July 4th

ACADEMIC FOCUS:

Bible Study, Academic Enrichment, Preparation for College & Careers

ACTIVITIES:

Arcade, Bowling, Chess, Dance, Rock Climbing,
Basketball Skills Training, Film Making & Weekly Field Trips

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

  • $50 Registration fee plus 1 week’s camp fee due at registration. (Non-Refundable)
  • $175 weekly camp fee per child.
  • $125 weekly camp fee (sibling discount) for each additional sibling living in the same household.
  • No daily rates! Weekly rates only! You only pay for the weeks you attend.
  • No refunds or weekly/daily credits!
  • Weekly fees due every Monday morning. Parents must come inside every Monday morning to sign-in their
    child. No drop-offs!!!
  • On-line weekly payments.
  • Early drop-off fee: $5 per child per day prior to 7:30 A.M. no earlier than 7:15 A.M. Fees due at drop-off.
  • Late pick-up fee: $1 per minute after 6:05 P.M. Fees due no later than the following morning upon
    camper’s arrival.

CAMP INFORMATION

  • This is the 16th year for Word of Faith Summer Camp 212. 
  • Campers are placed based on child’s grade level in August 2025 not age. 
  • Rising 3rd through 8th grade students are grouped by grade & gender based on enrollment: 3rd & 4th grade
    girls, 3rd & 4th grade boys, 5th & 6th grade girls, 5th & 6th grade boys, 7th & 8th grade girls, 7th & 8th grade
    boys. 
  • Each grade is assigned an Adult Servant Leader who supervises three to four College/Teen Servants who
    assist the Leader in providing morning prayer & scripture reading, academic instruction, monitoring and
    supervision in all daily activities and on field trips. 
  • All staff are responsible for immediately reporting all injuries and accidents, no matter how minor, to an
    Adult Servant Leader, a Camp Administrator or the Camp Director. A Camp Administrator will contact the
    parent or emergency contact ASAP concerning the injury. 
  • Campers must bring their lunch daily. Microwaves are available. College/Teen Servants assist with warming food Microwaves are not available on field trips
  • Camp 212 provides breakfast beginning at 7:30 A.M. Afternoon snack begins at 4:00 P.M. 
  • Campers must wear closed toes shoes to camp everyday to prevent foot/toe injuries.
  • No Book Bags allowed except on Water Park Field Trips. 
  • Campers clothing and lunches must have child’s first and last name.

Summer Camp 212 Policy on Electronic Devices

  • Campers may bring electronic devices at their parent’s discretion. Campers, not Camp Staff, are responsible for keeping up with their own electronic devices.
  • CAMP 212 IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ELECTRONIC DEVICES.
  • ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE NOT TO BE USED DURING INSTRUCTIONAL TIME.

DAILY SCHEDULES OF ACTIVITIES
(Subject to Change/Additional Activities may be added.)

Morning Procedures
Every morning upon arrival campers are escorted to their classrooms to store their lunches, jackets, etc. and
to the Fellowship Hall for breakfast. Following breakfast, campers will be escorted to the playground for
outside activities. Following outdoor activities, all campers return to their classrooms for morning prayer
and scripture reading.

Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays: Campers will be on the WOF campus
or at the EpiCenter.
Campers participate in Bible Study, Academic Enrichment, Preparation for College & Careers, Dance,
Basketball Skills Training, Movie & Film Making and Indoor/Outdoor Activities throughout the day.

Thursdays & Fridays are Field Trip Days (Campers must arrive by 8:15 A.M.)

  • We depart the church at 8:45 A.M. on field trip days and return at approximately 5:30 P.M.
  • CAMPERS ARRIVING LATE MISSING THE BUS CANNOT STAY AT CAMP THAT DAY !!!
    PARENTS MAY BRING THEIR CAMPER TO THE FIELD TRIP SITE.
  • Field trips are subject to change. Additional field trips may be added.
  • Praise & Worship is held every Friday morning in the Fellowship Hall prior to field trips.
  • Transportation and drivers for all activities / field trips will be provided by the Word of Faith
    Transportation Ministry.

Summer Camp 212 Disciplinary Procedures

  • The child will immediately be removed from all camp activities and be under the direct supervision of
    a Camp Administrator or the Camp Director.
  • A Camp Administrator or the Camp Director will immediately contact the parent or emergency contact to discuss the violation. Based on the severity of the violation, the parent or emergency contact
    may be required to pick-up the child immediately from the camp. The child will not be allowed to return to the camp until the parent and Camp Director have met and resolved the issue.

Summer Camp 212 Violations
Word of Faith Summer Camp 212 reserves the right to dismiss a child immediately from
camp for any of the following violations:

  1. Use of profanity or disrespectful language towards any Camp 212 Staff member or another camper
  2. Bullying, fighting or hitting another camper
  3. Theft

Camp 212 Instructional Programs

Bible Study

Bible study of the four Gospels: the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Students will participate in Prayer, Scripture Reading and Scripture Memorization as they focus on Jesus Christ and His disciples.

Academic Enrichment

Student focus will be on increasing their Critical Thinking skills by increasing their Math skills and playing the game of Chess. Students will compete in a variety of Academic Quiz Bowls.

Dance for Girls

Girls will receive dance instruction in Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Liturgical Forms.

Basketball Skills Training for Boys

Boys will receive instructions to increase their ball handling, passing, shooting and defensive skills to include daily scrimmages.

Film Making

Students will receive instructions from multifaceted Film Director Dap Paxton in Screen Writing, Cinematography, Production Design, Post Production, Directing, Production, Project Development and Screening culminating in the making of a short film.
