Cornucopia represents service from a place of prosperity and overflowing abundance.
Cornucopia firmly believes in ministry as described by Jesus in Matthew 25:40, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” In keeping with the church’s vision of, “Reaching the Lost, Teaching the Found,” our mission is to spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and physically enrich the lives of the underserved. This is achieved by providing the following ministry services:
Aide to the Elderly who reside in selected assisted-living facilities and nursing homes, as well as to the elderly within Word of Faith.
Clothing is collected, organized, and distributed to various men, women and children shelters, Word of Faith members, and others in need.
Food Distribution occurs every Saturday morning to various shelters for men, women, children, and others in need.
Shelters, with selected partners, provide assistance for men, women and children. Opportunities exist to teach Bible study, tutorial services for children, serve as child care helpers, and other open activities for the benefit of the residents.
Training & Development is provided pro bono via legal counsel, job readiness, entrepreneurial and life skills training to residents at selected shelters on a quarterly basis.
